Matichya Chuli is a family drama which beautifully depicts relationships between parents, their son and daughter-in-law in a typical middle class family. The main plot of the movie is the souring of relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law and the rope walk done by the father-in-law and his son.

Shripad Dandekar (Late Mr.Sudhir Joshi, later replaced by Mr. Anand Abhyankar) and Sunanda Dandekar (Vandana Gupte) are middle aged couples from a Brahmin family with a son Vishal Dandekar (Ankush Choudhari) who gets married to Pooja Bhosale (madhura Velankar) from a Maratha family. Due to their difference in ways of handling house-hold things, Sunanda and Pooja slowly start disliking each other. Vishal gets stuck between his emotional mother and disciplined wife. Shripad tries to maintain the decorum of the house but to no success.

Story unfolds as some realistic incidents take place. Ups and downs of their relationships are very nicely handled. The title of the movie comes from a Marathi adage "Gharoghari Matichya Chuli" which lets us know that this is the story of each and every house.

Apart from the realistic story, I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogues of the movie. At many places in the movie, you will have a smile on your face but with eyes getting little mosit. Heart touching dialogues and helplessness of each character has been showcased miraculously.

I would strongly recommend to watch this movie so that you will be in a better position to handle relationships in your life. And if its too late, you can atleast sit back and identify yourself as one of the characters in the movie.

Google Chrome OS

Google has been world leaders in Web technologies and mainly Web Search. I use google day in and day out to find information or even find websites whose URL are familiar to me. But I would prefer typing as little as possible and then clicking links to my destination webpage. Slowly it advanced into Social Networking sites and now it is making its way into Operating Systems.

I came across this news on the official Google blog today. I was surprised to learn this. Blog says that Google Chrome was success but some other online material say that it did not succeed as expected. Now who would keep low expectations when Google launches anything.

Similarly, my expectations from Google Chrome OS are high. It will be an open source OS and I am looking forward to it.

But what amazes me is Google's offensive strategy. It might not be the case but it seems that this OS is an answer to Microsoft's Bing. If Microsoft can try and compete with Google in what Google is supposedly at their best, even Google can compete with Microsoft in their core areas i.e. OS. With more competition, I think users are going to profit because now neither Microdoft nor Google can relax with the services that they are offering and have to be on the tip of their toe in bringing up new technologies. Eventually, I see users getting benefited from this healthy rivalry.

I hope we have more strong contenders in coming years.
